Donegal
and Somerset merchants are preparing for the 9th annual Christmas in
the Mountains extravaganza on December 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2008. 13
unique shops and restaurants along the Route 31 corridor will be
offering special discounts, special events, and door prizes to
encourage shoppers from Donegal to Somerset to do their holiday
shopping close to home. All shoppers are eligible to enter to win the
grand prize of a $500 Shopping Spree at the participating businesses.
The
special events include events with Santa, kids activities and crafts, a
Somerset Community Brass Band concert, and live reindeer.
Participating
merchants: Cut It Out, Brady's Restaurant, Linda Brown's Floral,
Collections by Marty, The Country Pie Shoppe, the Old General Store,
Glades Pike Winery, Oakhurst Tea Room, Laurel Arts, Rosina Corner
Cottage, Somerset Drug, and the shops of Glades Court Mall and Georgian
Place.
